By participating in our sell back program, you confirm that all books you submit are genuine, original copies and have been lawfully acquired.

Each item is carefully inspected for authenticity. If a book's legitimacy cannot be verified, it may be sent to the publisher for further review.

Books that cannot be verified as authentic or are confirmed to be counterfeit will not be eligible for payment.

If a book is confirmed to be counterfeit, it will be subject to disposal or forfeiture to the original publisher or appropriate authority, in accordance with U.S. law.

• Torn or missing covers or pages
• Severely damaged or broken binding or spine; all pages must be securely attached
• Pages that are loose, missing, or out of sequence
• Evidence of water damage, moisture exposure, mold, or staining
• Noticeable or strong odors, including but not limited to smoke or mildew
• Rebound or altered copies that differ from the original published format
• ISBN or barcode affixed solely via sticker and not printed directly on the book
• Missing or unusable supplementary materials (e.g., CDs, DVDs, or access codes) when such items are expected to be included
• Excessive wear and tear, including frayed corners, heavy creasing, or other significant cosmetic damage
• Loose-leaf editions that are incomplete, damaged, or not properly secured
• Any indication such as "Free Copy," "Exam Copy," "Promotional Use Only," "Sample Edition," "Not for Resale," "Complimentary Copy," "Uncorrected Proof," or similar wording, either on the cover or within the text
• Instructor or teacher editions
• Incomplete or partial sets (e.g., a single volume from a multi-volume set)
• Workbooks, lab manuals, or study guides containing markings on more than two pages
• Extensive writing, underlining, highlighting, or other markings across multiple pages
• Completed tests, quizzes, or exams written within the book
• Used or exposed access codes; the protective layer must be intact and unredeemed
• Books lacking a copyright page or those that do not comply with United States copyright regulations
• Items for which the authenticity cannot be confirmed
• Custom editions produced for specific institutions or regions
